Locums First is looking for Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Beauly.

Ideal for ANPs who want variety without chaos, these shifts are designed around manageable appointment lengths, sensible caseloads and access to on-site teams for escalation when needed. We prioritise services with clear protocols and supportive clinical leadership.

Up to 2 days a week available with flexibility and the option to extend.

Role Snapshot
• Same-day ANP clinics with agreed scope and clear escalation routes.
• Potential for regular ongoing sessions with repeat booking where mutually suited.

Working Pattern
• Up to 2 days per week with flexibility on which days you work.
• Choice of short-notice cover or planned weekly sessions.
• Sessional work that can be built around other roles or commitments.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced assessment and management of urgent primary care presentations.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment and safety-netting advice.
• Prescribe and request investigations in line with competence and policy.
• Complete referrals and follow local guidelines for onward care.
• Work collaboratively with GPs nurses and the wider MDT.

Requirements
• NMC registration and advanced clinical practice qualification relevant to ANP work.
• Independent Prescriber qualification where required by the service.
• Recent experience in UK general practice or primary care settings.
• Strong clinical documentation and risk management skills.
• Enhanced DBS and relevant compliance documents for locum work.
