Locums First is looking for Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Kenilworth.

This is a flexible option for ACPs seeking well-run clinics and a defined scope of practice. We prioritise placements with sensible appointment structures, clear escalation routes and teams that value advanced practice contribution.

Up to 3 days a week available with flexibility and potential ongoing work.

Role Snapshot
• Mix of urgent and routine ACP work depending on the service model.
• Regular sessions available for clinicians looking for consistent weekly work.

Working Pattern
• Up to 3 days per week subject to availability and site requirements.
• Flexible session lengths with AM PM and full-day options.
• Combination of planned cover and short-notice shifts available.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess manage and treat patients presenting with acute and complex needs.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and management plans within competence.
• Prescribe and request investigations where authorised and appropriate.
• Provide clear safety-netting and coordinate onward referrals when needed.
• Maintain high standards of record keeping and clinical governance.

Requirements
• ACP qualification or demonstrable advanced practice capability with registration.
• Prescribing qualification where required by the placement.
• Recent UK primary care experience and confidence with clinical systems.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and adherence to professional standards.
• Full locum compliance including DBS right to work and references.
